What We Do
Kidnovation creates fun tools that give kids the building blocks to better wellbeing.
Did you know that 1 in 8 kids experience mental health conditions such as anxiety, stress or depression, that will affect their wellbeing and future prospects?
In Sweden, poor mental health costs society 5% of the country's GDP. And it starts early. Half of all mental illness begins by the age of 14.
We reach kids before small problems become big problems.
Poor mental and emotional health is the leading cause of disability in young people around the world.
If untreated, these conditions severely influence children’s development, their educational achievement and their potential to live fulfilling and productive lives. Children suffering from mental and emotional distress face major challenges with stigma, isolation and discrimination. And it's hard to get help. In the UK, for instance, only a third of young sufferers get the psychosocial support they need.
Our mission is to make psychosocial support accessible to all children through science, storytelling and technology.

Fun and interactive
Kids have a special nose for detecting well-meaning messages that are for their own good. One whiff, and it's tune-out time!
That's why our programs are developed as entertainment. We transform proven therapy methods and social education into stories and games that children want to engage with. In doing so, we create a safe zone for them to express their feelings and communicate with teachers, parents and counsellors, allowing problems to be spotted sooner so that the right support can be provided.
From vulnerable to heroic!
Research shows that the best shield against anxiety, stress and depression is an empowered outlook. Empowerment is the ability to cope with challenges, and find the strength and courage to overcome them. That’s the very definition of a hero!
Kidnovation empowers society’s most vulnerable children by changing the way they see themselves. Also, by changing how they are seen by their peers. Hardships and differences don’t make a person weak, after all, they make a person stronger.
Through stories and games, Kidnovation provides strong and relatable role models for vulnerable children. Hero characters, who offer a positive reflection and a pathway to success for those whom they represent. At the same time, these hero characters open their peers up to empathy, understanding and new friendships. The essential ingredients of a healthy and inclusive society.
Measurable impact
We offer multiple programs for schools, delivered on Kidnovation's digital platform. Built into the digital platform is a tool that supplies teachers, social workers and therapists with indicators of each child's emotional status as they work their way through the program.
In this way, we are able to provide a more accurate picture of the child's mental health, as well as providing clear metrics on the overall impact of the program.
Easy & Scalable
Kidnovation's school programs are delivered digitally online, making them easy to deploy and easy to scale up -- whether it's additional classrooms or additional regions of the world.
